Despite feeling so overwhelmed, you can come to a place where you truly understand, accept, and even celebrate your ways of thinking, processing, and relating to others.

Your passion, unique perspective, strong sense of justice, and your authenticity and honesty are meant to be celebrated, even in a world that can often feel disingenuous, apathetic, unjust, and conformist.

You’re Not Alone in This

You are probably here because you feel confused and overwhelmed. You have spent years wondering why you feel different, or why life just seems harder than it “should” be.

This work is deeply personal to me because it reflects my own lived experience. I was diagnosed with ADHD when one of my children was diagnosed as a teen. Later, discovering the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) trait helped things make even more sense, yet it still didn’t explain everything about how I moved through the world.

While I had completed trainings on Autism, I didn’t fully see myself until I reached Autistic burnout. That was the turning point. I chose to be evaluated and learned that I am actually Autistic. It felt like someone had finally handed me the owner’s manual to my life and my brain!

So many emotions followed! Above all, I gained a deeper understanding of why I had always felt different: I think differently, process differently, and am more deeply impacted by my life experiences and my emotions.

Hormonal shifts, increasing responsibilities, and the cumulative weight of masking can push many Autistic adults into burnout. Most adults discover they are actually Autistic when the burnout becomes so severe that it can't be ignored.

If this is where you are now, I want you to know this: there is hope. Moving through burnout is possible. You can build new skills and systems, regain trust in yourself, and learn new ways of engaging with the world that nurture your nervous system, your relationships, and your sense of self.

All of your answers are within you, you simply need space and support to hear them. I’m here to help you listen, understand, and rediscover your truth.

My Approach

People often describe me as genuine, and down to earth. Many of my neurodiverse and autistic clients share that they feel deeply understood in our work together — that I “get them” in ways they haven’t experienced before.

I find comfort in a way of life that is simple, relational, and connected to nature and the earth. I’m guided by values of authenticity, compassion, justice, and a respect for our autonomy and differences in energy, perspective, and ways of being. This orientation often resonates with neurodiverse clients who feel out of step with mainstream cultural values such as constant productivity, social hierarchies, and restrictive gender roles.

I strive to live in ways that honor my own values, and I believe this models something important for clients: permission to question inherited expectations, listen inward, and live with greater integrity, compassion, and alignment with their own truths.

I hold two master’s degrees in Psychology, one in Counseling Psychology and one in Experimental Psychology. Early in my career, I relied heavily on intellect and professional training. Over time, however, I have come to believe that true healing does not occur through insight alone, but through caring and compassionate relationships — with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world.

While knowledge and training are essential foundations of effective therapy, they are not sufficient on their own. Equally important is listening to the wisdom of the body, honoring creativity, and reconnecting with our innate relationship to the earth. It is within this balance of understanding and connection that meaningful, lasting healing can unfold.

My Practice Offers Affirming Care Committed To:

Autistic-Centered
Therapy

Non-pathologizing care focused on understanding, support, and self-acceptance without pressure to measure up to neurotypical expectations.

A supportive,
compassionate space

Providing a safe space to explore the stress, grief, and uncertainty of living in today’s world as an Autistic person.

Ongoing reflection and growth

I am an imperfect therapist and human, committed to continual learning and unlearning as I deepen my understanding of decolonizing and de-pathologizing mental health care.

My Core Values

My work as a counselor is deeply rooted in my own journey of self-understanding and growth. Over time, I’ve learned that genuine healing doesn’t come from trying harder, striving to meet others’ expectations, or relying only on intellectual insight.

Healing comes from reconnecting with our bodies, honoring our emotions, and learning to trust our true selves. We grow through a lifelong commitment to self-compassion, authenticity, and respecting both our own autonomy and the autonomy of others.

These values guide how I live, how I connect with others, and how I imperfectly work to create space for my clients.

Genuine

I value honesty and authenticity more than popularity, status, or appearances. I show up as myself and invite you to do the same — no masks, no scripts, no uncomfortable clothing, just real connection and space for genuine growth.

Compassion

Compassion for others has always come easily to me. Self-compassion, however, has been a slower and more intentional journey. It’s taken time to learn and practice, but I’ve come to see it as one of life’s most beautiful gifts, one that opens the door to healing, connection, self-acceptance, and growth.

Self-Development

It’s not what you once thought it was, especially before discovering that you are autistic. Self-development isn’t about learning to fit in or measuring yourself against expectations shaped by a neurotypical world. It’s about uncovering who you’ve always been, learning and unlearning, rediscovering and accepting your true self beneath years of masking and others’ expectations.

At its core, self-development is about rewriting the story of your life in a way that honors your unique strengths and gifts, creating a narrative that finally makes sense. It’s about learning how to live fully, not just survive.

Autonomy

For me, autonomy is about reclaiming the right to live in a way that honors your true self and your needs. It’s learning to listen to your own body, mind, and instincts, and letting those guide your choices instead of succumbing to external pressure, social norms, mainstream values, or what feels right to others. Autonomy is ultimately about honoring the differences within ourselves that make life so rich.

Therapy with me might be a good fit if…
